Transfer: Omeruo moves to Romanian club, CFR Cluj
Super Eagles defender, Kenneth Omeruo has joined Romanian club CFR Cluj on a free transfer, DAILY POST reports.
Omeruo parted ways with Turkish Super Lig club Kasimpasa in February.
The centre-back is the sixth Nigerian to play for the eighth-time Romanian League champions.
Another Nigerian Philip Otele is currently on the books of CFR Cluj.
Omeruo’s experience will be vital for Dan Petrescu’s side, who will push to win the title last season.
CFR Cluj won the Romanian Cup last season.
