Chelsea forward, Christopher Nkunku’s transfer decision has complicated the Blues’ summer move for RB Leipzig star Xavi Simons.

As reported by The Sun UK, Nkunku doesn’t want a return to his former club RB Leipzig this summer.

As a result,it could see Chelsea struggle to complete a move for Simons.

The Premier League west London club need to sell before they can buy any more players.

Chelsea were hoping to send Nkunku back to Leipzig, therefore opening the door for Simons to move to Stamford Bridge.

But the France international doesn’t want a second spell at the German Bundesliga club.

Nkunku’s decision has now left Chelsea’s deal for Simons in limbo at the moment.

Simons has already made it clear he wants to leave Leipzig for Chelsea this summer.

The 22-year-old is among the players the Blues are looking to add to their attack following the signings of Liam Delap and Joao Pedro.
