Transfer: Mosquera agrees deal with Arsenal

Valencia defender, Christian Mosquera, has agreed on personal terms with Arsenal, ahead of a possible move this summer.

The Gunners have already seen an opening offer of around €14m for Mosquera rejected.

However, it is understood that Valencia is willing to do a deal for a fee in the excess of €20m.

This was revealed by football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, on X on Sunday.

Romano wrote: “Arsenal have reached full agreement on personal terms with Christian Mosquera.

“New proposal set to be submitted after opening bid worth €14m got rejected by Valencia.

“Arsenal hope to get the deal done for fee in excess of €20m, talks underway.”

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, wants Mosquera to be backup to his first-choice partnership of William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes.
