Transfer: Man City take decision on Akanji, Rodrygo

Manchester City are open to selling their defender Manuel Akanji to Galatasaray this summer transfer window.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Man City manager Pep Guardiola wants his squad to be reduced this season.

As a result, negotiations are underway between both Man City and Akanji’s camp, but an agreement has yet to be reached.

Galatasaray are in the United Kingdom in a bid to advance the Akanji deal with Manchester City.

Meanwhile, Man City also want Real Madrid’s Rodrygo but will only attempt to bring him to the Etihad Stadium if Savinho moves to Tottenham Hotspur.

Rodrygo’s future at Real Madrid has been a topic of discussion this summer transfer window.

The Brazilian international was an unused substitute as Los Blancos defeated Osasuna 1-0 in their LaLiga opener on Tuesday.

Rodrygo has been linked with Man City, Arsenal, and Tottenham this summer.
