Transfer: He’s saying no – Amorim speaks on Bruno Fernandes leaving Man Utd
Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim, has insisted that Bruno Fernandes wants to stay with the Premier League.
Speaking after a 3-1 win over Hong Kong in a post-season friendly on Friday, Amorim claimed Fernandes was “saying no to a lot of things”.
The Portugal midfielder is being linked with a huge move to Al Hilal this summer.
The Saudi Pro League side are willing to splash out a staggering £100 million to sign Fernandes, if the 30-year-old is ready to call time on his Old Trafford career.
But Amorim, speaking on Al Hilal pushing to sign Bruno Fernandes, said: “My feeling is that Bruno wants to stay. He is saying no to a lot of things.
“The club can find other ways to make money.
“I feel he wants to stay for sure with Man United, you never know.”
