Transfer: ‘He’s explosive, sharp’ – Iwobi names Arsenal star he wants at Fulham
Nigeria International, Alex Iwobi has said that he wants Arsenal star, Reiss Nelson to join him at Fulham.
Nelson, 25, spent the last season on loan with Fulham.
During this period, he played just 12 appearances for Fulham with his season cut short with injury.
He found the back of the net twice and made one assist in those 12 games before suffering a hamstring injury in December.
Iwobi and Nelson were teammates at Arsenal youth set up and the Nigerian insisted that the Fulham players want him(Nelson) to join them.
Iwobi, 29, told the Evening Standard, “His style of play is very explosive. He is very sharp. I just hope that he returns fit and healthy as soon as possible.
“It would be nice for him to come back to Fulham, because we know the sort of player he is. I can try to be an agent – but I am not!
“A lot of people are pressuring him, trying to find out what is going on! Me, I am not one of them! ”
Nelson has played a total of 90 games for Arsenal, scoring eight goals and providing nine assists.
