Transfer: Gavi leaves Sporting Lagos for Azerbaijani club FK Karvan Yevlakh

Thompson Gavi has teamed up with Azerbaijani club, FK Karvan Yevlakh, DAILY POST reports.

Gavi joined the club from Nigeria National League (NNL) side, Sporting Lagos.

He signed a one-season deal with FK Karvan Yevlakh.

Gavi expressed satisfaction after completing the move.

“New chapter, excited for this one,” Gavi wrote on his Facebook page.

Gavi previously played in Europe for Hapoel Afula in the Israeli league.

He has represented Nigeria at the U-20 level in the past.
