Chelsea outcast, Axel Disasi, is close to joining Premier League rivals Bournemouth.
As reported by the Sun UK, Bournemouth is in advanced talks to sign Disasi this summer transfer window.
Both Premier League clubs are now in direct negotiations over a permanent switch for the 27-year-old defender.
Bournemouth is pushing to get the deal done before next week’s summer transfer deadline.
Disasi is high on the Cherries’ wish list and there are growing confidence on the south coast that a deal will be struck for the Frenchman.
Meanwhile, AS Roma manager, Gian Piero Gasperini has dismissed talks that winger Jadon Sancho turned down a move to the Serie A club.
AS Roma director Frederic Massara had claimed that Sancho rejected a move to the club this summer.
However, Gasperini has now set the record straight, insisting that the England international never snubbed Roma.
Speaking to RAI after Roma defeated Bologna in the Serie A encounter at the weekend, Gasperini said: “Sancho never said no to Roma.”
Sancho has been linked with a move away from Manchester United and has attracted interest from Roma and other European clubs.
