Transfer: Details of Ronaldo’s stunning new contract with Al-Nassr revealed
The details of Cristiano Ronaldo’s lucrative new contract with Al-Nassr have been revealed.
Ronaldo has put pen to paper on fresh terms to keep him with the Saudi Pro League side until 2027.
According to Sun Sport, the new deal will see the 40-year-old earn £178 million annually.
A further breakdown shows that Ronaldo will take home £3.4 million per week.
Ronaldo was also paid a £24.5 million signing bonus and given a 15 per cent ownership stake in Al-Nassr, which is estimated to be worth £33 million.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner will also receive an £80,000 bonus per goal (which increases by 20 per cent in the second year) and a £40,000 bonus per assist (also increasing by 20 per cent in the second year).
Ronaldo will earn an £8 million bonus if Al-Nassr win the Saudi Pro League title and a £4 million bonus if he wins the Saudi Pro League Golden Boot.
He will be paid a £6.5 million bonus if Al-Nassr qualify for the Asian Champions League and win it.
The agreement also provides for 16 people working full-time for him, including three drivers, four housekeepers, two chefs, three gardeners, and four security personnel.
