Transfer: Chelsea agree deal with Gittens, to seal €60m transfer before Club World Cup
Chelsea have agreed personal terms with Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Gittens, according to RMC.
The Blues are looking to close the transfer for the 20-year-old before the start of this month’s Club World Cup.
Gittens signed for Dortmund after leaving Manchester City almost five years ago.
In 48 appearances for the Bundesliga side last season, Gittens scored 12 goals and provided five assists.
He is now widely expected to make a return to the Premier League next season, with Arsenal believed to hold an interest.
Gittens reprotedly has a €60million (£50.5m) release clause inserted in his current contract.
Chelsea have until 7pm on Tuesday to wrap up the deal before the transfer window closes again until June 16.
