Transfer: Al-Hilal u-turn, improve offer to Osimhen
Al-Hilal have made a U-turn after deciding to improve their proposal to Victor Osimhen and Napoli in a bid to reach an agreement as soon as possible.
This was disclosed by football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano in a post on his X account on Friday.
According to Romano, Galatasaray have also been pushing in the last 24 hours to sign the Nigeria international on a permanent transfer.
He added that Al-Hilal are offering an improved proposal, over €70m to Napoli and a higher salary to Osimhen.
This comes just a few hours after the Saudi Arabian club reportedly withdrew from the race to sign the 26-year-old due to his high cost.
Osimhen was reportedly demanding a salary of £500,000 per week, which Al-Hilal are not prepared to pay.
The 26-year-old is expected to leave Napoli permanently this summer, and at present, both Al-Hilal and Galatasaray are battling to sign him.
