Football pundits, Gary Lineker and Micah Richards have labelled Real Madrid ’embarrassing’ following their antics during the Copa del Rey final defeat to Barcelona at the weekend .
They also singled out Real Madrid defender, Antonio Rudiger for criticism.
Recall that Jules Kounde’s extra-time winner gave Barcelona a 3-2 win against Real Madrid.
Following Kounde’s goal, tensions boiled over on the Real Madrid bench in the closing stages of the game.
Rudiger attempted to confront referee De Burgos Bengoetxea and threw an ice cube at him.
The Germany international, who received a red for his behaviour, had since apologized to De Burgos Bengoetxea.

Speaking on The Rest is Football podcast, Lineker said: “We saw the stuff with Vinicius when Rodri won the Ballon d’Or, it lacked a bit of class. And they lost their heads completely in this game.
“Antonio Rudiger got a red card and was throwing ice cubes or something at the referee. Real Madrid are better than that.
“Everyone has moments but they need to have a little word with themselves. It’s hard when you’re so used to winning, dealing with defeat is not always easy.”
On his part , Richards added: “It’s embarrassing [from Rudiger]. That’s embarrassing.
“Real Madrid are a top club and they have values. They are winners but you can’t act like that.”
