Ademola Lookman has promised that 2025 will be a better year for Atalanta, DAILY POST reports.

Gian Piero Gasperini’s side won the UEFA Europa League in 2024.

La Dea currently occupy top spot on the Serie A table and are looking to win their first Scudetto.

Atalanta held Lazio to a 1-1 draw in their final game of 2024 on Sunday.

Lookman, who provided the assist for the visitors only goal of the game was named Man of the Match.

“The club had a fantastic 2024, so we want to continue to doing the same thing and the New Year will be better,” the Nigeria international told Sky Sport Italia.

“It was a tough match, the first half was very difficult for us, but we fought and on another day might have won the game.

“We drew, but we didn’t lose, so it’s positive.”
