Real Madrid attacker, Gonzalo Garcia has named Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo as his football idol.

Garcia spoke after leading Real Madrid to beat Juventus 1-0 in the FIFA Club World Cup Round of 16 tie on Tuesday night.

Recall that a second half goal from the 21-year-old attacker ensured Xabi Alonso’s side defeated the Serie A giants.

Real Madrid will now face Borussia Dortmund in the quarter-final stage.

Speaking during the post-match interview, Garcia said: “I’ve always said that my idol is Cristiano Ronaldo.

“I have had several role models throughout my career, but if I had to choose one, it is Cristiano. Always.”

Ronaldo, who is 40 years old, currently plays for Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro Lig.
