President Federation Cup: Rangers coach Ekenedilichukwu rates Plateau United high
Rangers assistant coach, Ekeh Ekenedilichukwu, has described their President Federation Cup quarter-final opponents, Plateau United, as a tactical and technical side.
The Flying Antelopes defeated Plateau United 1-0 in a fiercely contested match in Abuja on Saturday.
Rangers booked their place in the semi-final of the competition following the win, where they will face Kwara United.
Ekenedilichukwu said that the team will continue to fight till the end of the competition.
“This is a very sweet victory for us against a highly tactical and technical side, led by a great coach, Mbwas Mangut,” Ekenedilichukwu said after the game.
“We will continue to fight till the end of the competition.”
DAILY POST recalls that Rangers defeated Plateau United in their previous semi-final outing in 2023.
Rangers lost to Bendel Insurance in the final of the competition that year.
