President Federation Cup: Nasarawa Amazons must beat Rivers Angels – Danjuma
Nasarawa Amazons head coach, Christopher Danjuma, has said it is a privilege for his team to be playing in the final of the President Federation Cup.
The Lafia-based club last won the competition in 2019 when they defeated Rivers Angels in the final in Kaduna.
Both teams will be up against each other again at the
Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, on Saturday.
Danjuma said his team is motivated to make the state proud.
“One of the excitements at the end of the season is seeing your team present till the end to close the campaign on a positive note,” Danjuma told the club’s media.
“The Federation Cup is a prestigious tournament where every team aspires to be at the final because it’s a great galore.
“The feeling is great because we didn’t start the season well, but we changed things and we were spurred up to be competitive.
“We are hopeful of making the state proud after the game.”
