Victor Osimhen scored twice as Galatasaray defeated Trabzonspor 3-0 in the Turkish Cup final at the Gaziantep Stadium on Wednesday night.

It was the Nigeria international’s first major silverware with the Yellow and Reds.

Galatasaray last won the Turkish Cup in the 2018/19 season.

Baris Yilmaz opened scoring for Galatasaray after five minutes.

Osimhen doubled the advantage in the 46th minute after he was set up by Yunus Akgun.

Akgun also set up the Nigeria international for the third goal three minutes after the hour mark.

Osimhen scored four goals and provided one assist in the Turkish Cup this season.

Galatasaray will also look to win a third consecutive Turkish Super Lig title when they confront Kayserispor at the RAMS Park on Sunday.
