Onyemaechi keen to play in UEFA Champions League
Olympiacos defender Bruno Onyemaechi has said he can’t wait to play in the UEFA Champions League next season.
Onyemaechi made the switch to Olympiacos from Portuguese club Boavista in January.
The 26-year-old featured in nine league games, and provided one assist with Olympiacos claiming the title.
He also made an appearance in the Greek Cup final victory over OFI Crete.
Onyemaechi now have the chance of playing in the lucrative UEFA Champions League for the first time in the 2025/26 season.
The left-back said he is looking forward to his maiden appearance in the competition.
“It’s a very big season cause I’ll be playing in the Champions League for the first time. I’m looking forward to this, I hope I’m prepared for it and I hope I’m injury free also,” he told TVC News.
