NWFL: Remo Stars Ladies get trio boost for Dannaz Ladies clash
Remo Stars Ladies have welcomed back the trio of Hannah Ibrahim, Aishat Animashaun, and Taiwo Adegoke for the Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL, Matchday 14 encounter against Dannaz Ladies.
The trio returned to the team after taking part in Nigeria’s FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifying match against Algeria.
They joined their teammates in training on Tuesday.
“Back with us after qualifying for the U-17 World Cup with the Flamingos. Welcome back, Hannah, Aishat, and Taiwo,” Remo Stars Ladies wrote on Facebook.
Remo Stars Ladies will lock horns with Dannaz Ladies at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne on Wednesday.
The Ikenne-based club has already booked its place in the NWFL Super Six playoff tournament.
Defending champions Edo Queens, Rivers Angels, Nasarawa Amazons, and Bayelsa Queens have also qualified for the playoffs.
The final slot will be determined after the decisive Week 14 fixture between Naija Ratels and FC Robo Queens.
