NPFL: Yusuf rallies support for Insurance ahead Shooting Stars clash

Edo State Government has solicited for fans support ahead of Bendel Insurance’s rescheduled matchday 3 fixture against Shooting Stars.

The Chairman of the State Sports Commission, Yussuf Alli made the call in Benin.

Alli acknowledged the importance of the home support in their quest to get a favourable result.

“Insurance FC needs our support. Bendel Insurance FC is our own. Edo people should see the club as their own and continue to give their support irrespective of the results they post,” Alli told Bendel Insurance media.

“That is what we see in other states, particularly in the northern states. We have provided free shuttle for fans; shared hundreds of jerseys and other souvenir to attract fans to the stadium and we will continue to do more.

“This match is crucial and our boys need to get the maximum points hence our call for all Benin residents to come to the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium today evening to cheer Bendel Insurance to victory.”

Bendel Insurance will host Shooting Stars at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium on Wednesday (today).
