NPFL: Wikki Tourists sign nine players ahead new season

Wikki Tourists have announced the signing of nine players ahead of the 2025-26 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL season.

Experienced midfielder Nasiru Auwalu joined the Bauchi Elefrom Kano Pillars.

Others new additions are Philip Johnson (Akwa United), Sani Ibrahim (Inter Lagos), Luis Dadong (Kwara United), Abdullahi Usman (Sporting Lagos), Idris Ashiru Dantata (Malitakicare), Kabiru Abdullahi (Lobi Stars) and Abba Usman (Nasarawa United).

Wikki Tourists also handed Saddam Nahuta his first professional contract following his outstanding performance with non-league side Warinje FC.

Abdullahi Maikaba’s side will kick-off their 2025-26 campaign with a clash against Plateau United.

The match will be staged at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium in Bauchi on Friday, 22nd August.
