Kano Pillars interim coach, Ahmed Garba Yaro Yaro says that his team missed the service of defender Rashid Alasan in the 2-1 defeat to Plateau United.

Alasan missed the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, matchday 30 encounter due to injury.

Yaro Yaro assured that the team will work hard to improve on their defensive lapses.

“We missed an important player, Rashid, for this game, and that forced us to make some late changes,” Yaro Yaro stated.

“However, we will work hard to address our defensive concerns and make the necessary adjustments ahead of our upcoming fixtures.”

Kano Pillars dropped to eighth position in the table following the defeat.

They will lock horns with Bendel Insurance in their next league game on Wednesday.
