NPFL: Sunshine Stars won’t give up on relegation survival – Akinfolarin

Sunshine Stars head coach, Bobola Akinfolarin has stressed that his side would not relent until they exit the relegation zone.

Akinfolarin acknowledged the challenges of playing without getting desired results.

He stated that the team is focused on improving their performance n the league.

Sunshine Stars defeated Kwara United 4-2 in a Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) matchday 27 fixture in Ikenne on Saturday.

“We are working seriously on our defence to ensure we stop conceding goals, both home and away,” Akinfolarin stated in a post-match interview.

“With the support of God, our fans, and all stakeholders, we are optimistic about exiting the red zone.”
