Sunshine Stars have issued a three-match ultimatum to Bala Abubakar-led technical crew following the team’s poor run of form.

The decision was reached after an extensive assessment of the team’s performance since the start of the second stanza.

The Owena Waves have managed to secure only seven points out of a possible 21 in the second stanza of the league.

The ultimatum also extends to the Team Manager, Welfare Officer, and other backroom staff.

Sunshine Stars will battle Kwara United in their next league game in Ikenne this weekend.

They will also travel to Lafia to slug it out with Nasarawa United before returning to play Plateau United.

The Akure club currently occupies 18th position on the league table with 28 points.
