Sunshine Stars have promoted three U-19 players to the senior team for the second half of the season.

The players are Samuel Matthew, Christopher Richard, and Ariyo Ikulamberu.

Sunshine Stars made the announcement in a statement on Tuesday.

The director of Sunshine Stars Youth Team, Abimbola Oladimeji, stated that the promotion is a well-deserved reward for the players.

“The three players deserve promotion to the senior team due to their performances on the field of play,” Oladimeji told the club’s media.

“We believe it is time for them to explore more opportunities to excel in their footballing careers.”

Sunshine Stars’ technical adviser, Bala Abubakar, is currently strengthening the team for the second half of the season.
