NPFL: Shooting Stars will bounce back from Kwara United defeat – Ogunbote
Shooting Stars head coach, Gbenga Ogunbote, is optimistic his team will bounce back from the 2-0 defeat to Kwara United.
The defeat was Shooting Stars’ first in nine league outings.
3SC also missed the chance to cut Remo Stars’ lead at the top of the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, table.
Ogunbote admitted that the defeat was just a temporary setback.
“This is just a temporary setback. We need to pick up the pieces and take the positives from it,” he told the club’s media.
“You see, sometimes, when you do not manage success, you pay a price, and sometimes, when you taste defeat and are able to realize why you were defeated, you can bounce back.
“All we need to do is bounce back by picking up our pieces, making the necessary corrections, and moving on.”
Shooting Stars will be away to Heartland in their next league game on Sunday.
