Shooting Stars have resumed preparations for the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL season, DAILY POST reports.

The Ibadan-based club had embarked on a break following the conclusion of the 2024/25 campaign.

The team’s technical adviser, Gbenga Ogunbote, welcomed the players back to training.

Ogunbote urged them to brace themselves for the challenges of the new season.

The players are currently training at the Awolowo Stadium, University of Ibadan.

Shooting Stars finished in eighth position last season.

The 2025/26 season is scheduled to kick off on Friday, August 22.
