NPFL: Shooting Stars coach, Ogunbote concedes defeat to Heartland

Shooting Stars technical adviser, Gbenga Ogunbote, says the approach adopted by Heartland in their matchday 24 fixture played a key role in the game.

The Oluyole Warriors lost 2-1 to Heartland at the Dan Anyiam Stadium on Sunday.

Ogunbote admitted that the Naze Millionaires tactics did not allow his boys to play their game.

“I think it wasn’t a bad game. They have a good side with a good coach and then their tactics worked for them,” Ogunbote told the club’s media.

“If you watch from the begining to the end of the game, they didn’t give us any rest moment and they were not allowing us to settle down to play.

“I’m sure that was their game tactics and it worked for them.”

Shooting Stars will lock horns with Lobi Stars in their next league match on Wednesday.
