NPFL: Rivers Angels set for derby clash with Delta Queens

Rivers Angels are confident of securing victory over Delta Queens in their South South derby encounter.

The former Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL, champions will lock horns with Delta Queens at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium on Wednesday(today).

Rivers Angels defeated Delta Queens in the reverse fixture.

“Let’s secure a double win against Delta Queens.” Rivers Angels stated ahead of the game.

Tosan Blankson’s side suffered their first defeat of the campaign against Robo Queens last week, while Delta Queens have registered four wins, two draws and five defeats.

Rivers Angels have earned 26 points from 11 games.

The Jewels of Port Harcourt, now occupy second position on the Group B table, while Delta Queens are fifth with 14 points.
