NPFL: Onyebuchi committed to Rangers amid exit rumours
Rangers defender, Ifeanyi Onyebuchi says he remains a bona-fide player of the former Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, champions Rangers.
Onyebuchi has been linked with a move away from the Flying Antelopes.
He said his focus is to win the African Nations Championship with Nigeria.
“My club is Rangers FC, that’s where I won the NPFL title, it’s my home, I have sacrifice a lot to make the fans happy, Rangers is Red, my blood is Red, Rangers is more than a club, it’s a home,” Onyebuchi told Nigerian Players Gallery.
“My focus is on the CHAN tournament. I don’t want to talk about my future now, my dream is to win the CHAN for my country.”
The home-based Super Eagles will face defending champions Senegal in their opening fixture at the 2024 African Nations Championship.
Congo and Sudan are the other countries in the group.
