Four managers have been shortlisted for the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, Coach of the Month award for February.

The quartet are Imama Amapakabo (Abia Warriors), Fidelis Ilechukwu (Rangers), Greg Ikhenoba (Bendel Insurance) and Daniel Ogunmodede (Remo Stars).

Imama led Abia Warriors to three wins, a draw and a defeat in five matches in the month.

The Umuahia-based club moved up to seventh position with their impressive run.

Ilechukwu is leading his team’s chase for continental football next season.

The Flying Antelopes tactician guided his team to three wins, a draw and a defeat in the month.

Ikhenoba’s tactical brilliance has facilitated Bendel Insurance’s escape from the relegation zone since his appointment.

Bendel Insurance have moved up to ninth position in the NPFL table with four wins and one draw in six matches.

The Ogunmodede led side have continued to hold firm to their position at the summit of the NPFL table following three wins in five games.

The winner of the award will be decided by a panel of Nigerian football experts, and announced next week.
