Abia Warriors captain, Augustine Njoku, has said the team is in high spirit for the Oriental derby clash against Rangers.

Njoku acknowledged the recent achievement of the Flying Antelopes but stated that the team won’t be intimidated with it.

Abia Warriors will lock horns with Rangers at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium on Sunday.

“We the players are ready and in high spirit to play our first Oriental derby against Rangers,” Njoku told Abia Warriors media.

“We are ready to work hard and protect our unbeaten record in the league.

“We are not bothered about their success in the league as we will accord them the necessary respect but we won’t be afraid of them.”
