NPFL: Mohammed relieved with Niger Tornadoes’ draw against Katsina United

Niger Tornadoes technical adviser, Majin Mohammed, has said the 1-1 away draw against Katsina United was a big relief for his team.

Papa Daniel put Tornadoes ahead in the first half, while Bello Lukman equalised for the hosts after the break.

Tornadoes maintained their impressive run on the road following the draw.

“It’s another valuable away point,” Majin stated in a post-match interview.

“We have played five matches away and lost just once, won two and drew two, which is a good take home.”

Niger Tornadoes currently occupy 11th position on the table with 11 points.
