Niger Tornadoes technical adviser, Majin Mohammed, has admitted that his team’s over Lobi Stars was tough.

Mohammed stated that his team’s adequate preparation paid off in the game.

He also commended his players for their spirited performance.

Niger Tornadoes defeated Lobi Stars 2-0 at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium on Wednesday.

“I want to thank the Almighty for the victory, we came to Bauchi knowing well that the encounter won’t be easy because Lobi came to our home ground to get a point in the reverse fixture,”Mohammed stated in a post-match interview.

“Lobi Stars been down on the league table does not mean they are push overs.

“The most important thing is that we scored goals. kudos to the players and the management for the win.”

Niger Tornadoes moved up to eighth position on the league table with 37 points.
