NPFL: Mangut still our technical adviser – Plateau United

Plateau United have refuted claims that Mbwas Mangut will not continue as the team’s technical adviser for the 2025–26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

The Peace Boys also denied reports of General Manager Habila Mutla’s disengagement by the Plateau State Government.

Plateau United stated that all formal communication on appointments and removals will be communicated through a certified channel.

DAILY POST recalls that the young tactician signed a three-year deal with Plateau United in 2024.

Part of the statement reads, “In swift response to communication making the rounds on social media platforms suggesting that the current Plateau United Technical Adviser, Mbwas Mangut, will reportedly not continue as head coach next season, the club refutes these claims yet again.”

“As stated earlier in response to similar communication regarding the club’s General Manager, any formal communication regarding appointment, removal from office, or reinstatement comes directly from certified channels and media sources since the club is being bankrolled by the state government.”
