Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, champions, Remo Stars, are on the verge of completing the signing of Malian striker Adama Goïta.

Goïta has reached an agreement with Remo Stars, according to reports.

The highly rated striker will put pen to paper on a two-year contract.

He scored 14 goals across all competitions for Malian club Djoliba AC last season.

It’s the first time he will be playing outside Mali.

Goïta was previously linked with a move to French club Nantes.

Remo Stars are strengthening their squad ahead of the new season.

The Ikenne-based club will compete in the NPFL, President Federation Cup, and CAF Champions League.
