NPFL: Liberian goalkeeper Julu joins Ikorodu City

Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, side Ikorodu City have completed the signing of Liberian goalkeeper, Derrick Julu.

Julu joined the Oga Boys on a two-year deal from Watanga FC.

“We’re excited to sign Liberian national team goalie, Derrick Julu from 2x Liberian First Division Champions Watanga FC on a two years deal,” Ikorodu City stated after his unveiling.

The shot-stopper joined the increasing numbers of foreigners in the NPFL.

Julu is expected to stake for the club’s number one goalkeeping position.

Ikorodu City will lock horns with Kwara United in their opening fixture of the season.
