NPFL: Imama blames missed chances for Abia Warriors draw with Kwara United

Abia Warriors technical adviser, Imama Amapakabo, has regretted his team’s failure to beat Kwara United.

The Umuahia club held Kwara United to a 0-0 draw in Ilorin on Wednesday.

Amakpakabo, however, attributed goal-scoring as a problem faced by Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, clubs.

He assured he will work on his team’s attack ahead of subsequent games.

“One point, we didn’t go home empty handed, exciting game we know it was going to come but both sides created chances unfortunately they were all near misses without a goal in the game,” Imama told Abia Warriors media.

“Missed chances is a problem in the NPFL because all the clubs are facing it, we will definitely work on it because it’s an act that’s why they pay big money for players who can score well.”
