NPFL: Heartland’s Omaka Anthony agrees move to Rivers United

Omaka Anthony has agreed a move to Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, side Rivers United.

Anthony leaves Heartland following the team’s relegation to the Nigeria National League, NNL, last season.

The 29-year-old midfielder featured regularly for the Naze Millionaires last term.

Anthony is expected to be unveiled by Rivers United before the start of the new season.

Rivers United are beefing up their squad for what is expected to be a demanding campaign.

The new NPFL season will kick-off on Friday, 22nd August.
