NPFL: Gberefun joins Rangers on two-year deal

Rangers have sealed up the signing of forward Ganiyu Gberefun for the 2025-26 Nigeria Premier Football League season.

Gberefun signed a two-year contract that will keep him with the Flying Antelopes until 2027.

The striker joined the former NPFL champions from Nigeria National League, NNL, side Osun United.

Gberefun was Osun United’s top scorer with 10 goals in the 2024-25 season.

He helped the Omoluabi Giants reach the NNL playoffs.

Gberefun is expected to fight for a starting role with experienced forward Godwin Obaje in the coach Fidelis Ilechukwu’s team.
