The Enyimba International Stadium, Aba, is currently undergoing renovations following the conclusion of the 2024/25 season.

The move is to ensure that the stadium – home ground of nine-time Nigeria Premier Football League champions, Enyimba, meet the required standard.

Currently seats are being installed at the stadium, while roofing and painting works are nearing completion.

The Abia State government have also approved the installation of a 500kva power plant for the ground.

The People’s Elephant are currently on break, and are expected to resume preparation for the new season later this month.

The 2025/26 NPFL season will start on Friday, 22 August.
