Enyimba rallied to hold Shooting Stars to a 1-1 draw in a Matchday 26 encounter in Aba on Wednesday.

Shooting Stars have now failed to beat Enyimba in their last seven Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, games.

The visitors made a strong start, scoring the curtain-raiser through Sodiq Ibrahim.

In-form forward Ekenne Awazie equalized for Enyimba three minutes before the break.

Awazie has now scored four goals in his last four league appearances for Enyimba.

Enyimba extended their winless streak to three games following the stalemate.

Shooting Stars, on the other hand, have failed to record a win in their last four league outings.
