Bayelsa United have announced resumption for the 2025-26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

The Prosperity Boys will start preparations for the new season on Saturday, 28 June 2025.

Bayelsa United official, Tarila Okorowanta disclosed this in a chat with the media on Wednesday.

Okorowanta stated that the technical crew will determine the retained players, and will recruit new players for the team.

“Right now, the team is on break and will reconvene on 28 June to prepare for the 2025/2026 season,” Okorowanta told Completesports.

“It is when the team regroups that the technical crew will determine those to be retained and those to be recruited based on the team’s needs.”
