The Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL , has announced a new venue and date for the matchday two fixture between Kun Khalifat FC and Remo Stars.

The match, initially scheduled for the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri, will now hold at the Enyimba Stadium in Aba on Monday, September 1.

The change is due to ongoing renovation work at Dan Anyiam Stadium.

This will be the first meeting between Kun Khalifat FC and Remo Stars.

Kun Khalifat FC, a newly promoted team from Owerri, opened the season with a 0-0 draw against Rangers last Sunday.

Remo Stars also played out a 1-1 draw against Rivers United in the opening fixture in Abeokuta.
