NPFL: Akinfolarin hails Sunshine Stars’ discipline in win over Akwa United

Sunshine Stars head coach, Bobola Akinfolarin, has attributed his team’s win over Akwa United to their defensively discipline.

The Owena Waves won the matchday 24 encounter 1-0.

Akinfolarin assured that the team will continue to improve on their weakness in subsequent games.

“We will continue to work on the lapses we discovered in any game,” Akinfolarin reacted.

“We had a clean sheet with maximum points which was achieved because we took our time to x-ray the team in the area of letting in goals. We worked on it and it manifested, we won’t stop until we get better.”

Sunshine Stars remain in the relegation zone despite the win.
