NNL: Warri Wolves ready for promotion fight – Stafford
Warri Wolves are battle ready for the Nigeria National League (NNL) Super Eight playoff tournament.
The playoff competition will determine the winner of the 2024/25 NNL season, while the top four teams will secure promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
An official of the club Prince Oghenechovwe Stafford declared that the players are in high spirit ahead of the tournament.
“The boys are in high spirit making use of all available avenues to prepare in earnest for the tournament,” Stafford told DAILY POST.
The tournament will be staged at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba next month.
He also that said the Delta State government, and the league body are putting heads together to ensure a successful hosting.
“I believe that the state government, and the NNL are doing their best to see to the success of the tournament,” he said.
