Abubakar Bukola Saraki, ABS FC, have announced Yusuf Salihu as their new head coach for the 2025-26 Nigeria National League, NNL, season.

The Ilorin-based club announced Salihu’s appointment at a brief ceremony at the Taiwo Awoniyi Media Sports Centre, Kwara SWAN Secretariat, George Innih Stadium, Ilorin.

Salihu expressed gratitude for the opportunity and outlined his vision for the club.

“Football is teamwork, and that’s why it remains a collective game, I can’t do it alone. With unity, commitment, and the support of the management and stakeholders, we will succeed,” Salihu stated during his unveiling.

Salihu took over from Cameroonian born tactician, Encho Anthony who left the club at the end of last season.

ABS FC failed to reach the NNL playoffs in the 2024-25 season.
