Nigerian defender, Nya wins two awards in Zambia

Nigerian defender, Dennis Nya has won two end of the season awards at Zambian club, Zesco United.

The former Golden Eaglets star was named the club’s Most Consistent Player and Fans’ Player of the Year.

Nya was recognised for his impressive displays for the club during the 2024/25 season.

The 28-year-old is already on the radar of top clubs in Africa and Europe.

DAILY POST recalls that the centre-back won the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, title with Akwa United in the 2020/2021 campaign.

Zesco United finished the season in second position behind Power Dynamos.
