New NNL season to kick-off in October

The 2025-26 Nigeria National League, NNL, season will kick-off in October, DAILY POST reports.

The league body made the announcement after a meeting held in Asaba on. Friday.

The body also scheduled its Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the last week of August.

The AGM will serve as a preparatory roadmap for the new campaign.

Warri Wolves won the 2024-25 NNL title after beating Wikki Tourists 3-2 in the final.

The Seasiders, Wikki Tourists, Barau FC, and Kun Khalifat FC gained promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, at the NNL promotion playoffs.
