Chelsea defender, Tosin Adarabioyo, has revealed that his dad is from Lagos State, Nigeria.

The 27-year-old, who was born in London, UK, also disclosed that his mother is from Ekiti State.

He made the disclosures while reflecting on his footballing journey so far and the bond he shares with Chelsea team-mate Cole Palmer.

“My mum is from Ekiti. Our plan is to go there and look around where my mum was raised and lived,” Tosin told Arise News.

“My brother will know better than me, my dad is from Lagos.”

“I was born in London but was raised in Manchester. Cole [Palmer] is also from Manchester; we both played in the Manchester City academy. We have a lot of friends in common.”

Adarabioyo had on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
